Riddles by Martina
I'm like a blossom
made of light, blooming best in darkest night. If the fire's a dancer
I am footprints marking her passage with pale, silent hints. If the land's cream of wheat
I am the milk, lapping and softening, life-giving silk. |
I'm made of numerous pieces,
all of different forms. I test your skill at seeing how many can make one. I'm hot when you're not,
I'm made in a pot with water and leaves; to have me, say "Please!" If the garden's a tapestry,
I am its loom with earthworms and insects weaving in tune. |
